MV Spotlights Clients'
Projects
Lab's Lavish Hillside Vineyard
Micro-Vineyards are on the rise all over San Diego County!
The Matthew Lab Family maximized unused backyard space and
created a beautiful hillside terrace vineyard. MV was brought
in to consult the project. Way to go Matthew, it's really awesome!

Devin
Does It
The Devin Quinn Family created an interesting micro-vineyard
and wind break layout with MV certified grapevines. Vines mature
in size with less wind yield more grapes; ah so, very clever
thinking Grasshopper.

Bocce
Anyone?
The First Annual Bocce Ball Tournament was recently held at Salerno
Winery in Ramona.
Organized and attended by the East County Vintners Association,
numerous local San Diego Vineyard
owners and Wine Makers from across the county. A BIG Thank You
goes out to Rose and Herman Salerno for allowing this fun filled
tournament to become a yearly event. Love this link, http://bocce.org
PS ... Did you know that Herman Salerno worked with Paul Vesco
Sr. to make our delicious
1989 MV cellared port wine? He also helped plant hundreds of
the original Maness Vineyards
Petite Syrah grapevines. Visit www.salernowinery.com

Mark and Gladys Morrison owners of Vineyard Mansion were on hand
in October to help with the crush and fermentation of their Bordeaux

others. Visit their website at www.vineyardmansion.com.

The
3 Amigo Wine Makers
John Law, John Keily and MV proprietor Greg Maness at the crusher
destemmer machine. Six different estate produced wines were prepared
during this 2011 season. Numerous area families brought in their
vineyard grapes to press their own wine as MV offered guidance.
Remember to contact MV for all your wine lovin' needs.

Mahalo
Polynesian Style
We're sending out a very special thank you and aloha to Pete and
Sallye Ehmke for hosting their Hawaiian themed birthday at Maness
Vineyards Estate. The poolside performance featuring Rob Mehl and
Gil Orr blew everyone away. Rob's mastery of the ukulele and guitar
along with Gil's accompaniment made for one beautiful sunset affair
the Ehmke family will fondly remember for years to come. Visit
www.RobMehl.com.
His new CD is a good one for your collection. Also, look for Gil
who plays with today's group, The Chantays,
who back in the day had a hit song, Pipeline, that made the 1963
national chart.
